Hot Toys: 1/6 MMS DX 02 Batman Is Breathtaking [but a milking exercise as usual]

Not a big fan of the Batman as some of you might know, but even so, it's hard to say no to Hot Toys' latest milking exercise, oops I'm sorry, I mean Batman.

Following in the footsteps of the MMS DX 01 Joker, this MMS DX 02 Batman is an improvement over the original Batman that was released quite some time ago. Specifically, what this really means is that it gets an improved sculpt, reworked costume, additional accessories (transformable sticky bomb gun, mini mines, utility belts) and most crucially, the new PERS thingamajig (Parallel Eyeball Rolling System). Altogether, the end result is nothing short of sheer Batman awesomeness, as these pictures will attest.

As much as I deplore Hot Toys' nasty habit of milking their licenses (I mean, couldn't they just release this in the first place?), their products are undeniably top class. Their sheer consistency of churning out top figures has just blown the competition away and I think only Enterbay is right up there with them.

MMS DX 02 Batman is set for a Q1 2010 drop and should cost around S$250.
